SAP Solution Manager Integration with Non-SAP system

This document is overview of SAPCCMR CCMS agent. In this document all possible configurations and their overviews are given. This document is not sufficient for configuring Non-SAP system to SAP Solution Manager. This document is made for knowing capability of CCMS agent “SAPCCMR” and their usability if we are using CCMS as central Monitoring agent. We can make SAP Solution Manager as Central Monitoring Agent or other SAP System where load is relatively low.

Non-SAP system like Database of SAP Application server in distributed environment, middleware or other Non-SAP application can be integrated with SAP Solution Manager. After integration we can monitor the system from SAP solution Manager itself. The integration can be done by SAPCCMSR agent.

The monitoring of any system is done by CCMS architecture. SAPCCMSR sends data to central CCMS architecture in SAP. If we implement SAP Solution Manager then we keep SAP Solution Manager’s CCMS as central component which receives all the monitoring related data and display in CCMS architecture. It can be viewed by RZ20 transaction.
