SAP NetWeaver ’04 Post-Installation Guide Today, system landscapes consist of multiple distributed software components with different platformdependencies, different interfaces, and different requirements regarding installation and changemanagement. An overall concept is required that facilitates the implementation, upgrade, and maintenanceof even the most complex system landscapes. This is where SAP System Landscape Directory (SLD)comes into play. SLD acts as a central information provider where comprehensive information about all theinstallable and installed elements of your system landscape is stored.

For SAP Exchange Infrastructure 3.0 SR1 You use the SAP Partner Connectivity Kit (PCK) to connect your business environment to an existing SAP Exchange Infrastructure environment.PCK runs on a SAP Web Application Server 6.40 Java system and contains the necessary parts of the SAP Exchange Infrastructure component Integration Builder.
