You do not require having PayPal account for making payment. You may directly make payment without having / creating account on PayPal.
On the confirmation of order you will be directed to PayPal secure payment gateway. on this screen you will have two options.
Option 1. If you have paypal account, please login and continue
Option 2. If you do not have paypal account, there is a small link has been given for "Continue". You need to click on this link and you will be able to enter your credit card detail and transaction will be processed.
